Maidencreek All-Day Sacred Harp Singing

Registration will begin at 9:30am, and we will commence singing from The Sacred Harp, 1991 at 10am. All are welcome and books will be provided. There will be a potluck dinner on the grounds around 12:30 and plan to sing until around 3:30. A social will follow nearby.
If you are definitely or possibly coming, please pre-register with your contact information.
This historic building has no running water or electricity, so please plan your potluck dish accordingly. Drinking water and portable toilets will be available. There are several steps into the meeting house.
While not absolutely required, same-day COVID testing is strongly recommended, and there will be tests available at the door for free. All doors and windows will be opened to allow adequate air flow throughout the singing space, and we will set up exhaust fans, as we did last year. If you have any cold- or flu-like symptoms, or test positive, please sit out this year, out of consideration for your fellow singers and their families.

Directions
From the north: from I-78 Exit 29, go south on PA 61 past Leesport to PA 73. Turn left on PA 73 and go 0.4 miles to the stop light at Ontelaunee Drive. Turn left on Ontelaunee Drive and proceed 1.1 miles to Kindts Corner Road. Turn right on Kindts Corner Road and go 0.9 miles to the junction with Shoemaker Road. Immediately beyond the intersection watch for an unpaved drive between two stone pillars. Turn left into the driveway. The meeting house is the first building on the right.
From the south: from US 222 and I-76 Exit 286, go north on US 222 around the outskirts of Reading to exit for PA 61 north of Reading. Go north on PA 61 about 1.5 miles to PA 73. Turn right on PA 73 and go east for 0.4 miles to the stop light at Ontelaunee Drive. Turn left on Ontelaunee Drive and proceed 1.1 miles to Kindts Corner Road. Turn right on Kindts Corner Road and go 0.9 miles to the junction with Shoemaker Road. Immediately beyond the intersection turn left into an unpaved driveway located between two stone pillars. From the east: Go west on I-76 toward King of Prussia to Exit 328A. Follow directional signs to US 422 West. Remain on US 422 West until the expressway ends, then stay to the right until coming to traffic light at PA 662. Turn right on PA 662 and head north 9 miles to PA 73. Turn left onto PA 73 going west about 7.5 miles to the traffic light at US 222. Continue on PA 73 going west 2.4 more miles to the traffic light at Ontelaunee Drive. Turn right on Ontelaunee Drive and go 1.1 miles to Kindts Corner Road. Turn right on Kindts Corner Road and go 0.9 miles to the junction with Shoemaker Road. Immediately beyond the intersection watch for an unpaved drive between two stone pillars. Turn left into the driveway. The meeting house is the first building on the right.
